What a good Daddy!

Gracie and I both love greeting Dad, when he comes home from work. Gracie and I anicipate the moment by looking out the window to see his car drive up. She lets out a big squeal and starts kicking her legs! It is also so fun to see James' big smile when we he see's us! His whole face lights up and he gets so excited! This is one of those simply sweet moments in life when you just love to be alive. I dont know if James ever looks at our blog... but what a great Daddy he is! I've never known anyone to be so consistent in being loving, being patient, and being so principled. We love you Daddy!

Snow Day!

Today we went with some friends a few minutes down the street to the golf course for some sledding! It was the first time we took Gracie out in the snow. James did some snow mobiling. It was 28 degrees outside and snowing.. so cold. It didnt hold back the kids though... there were dozens of families out there having a blast! We came back to the house for hot chocolate and got toasty warm by the fire. Fun Day!

My missionary Sista!

My sister Marci is serving in Salta, Argentina. She is so on fire! She is such a hardworking missionary. On Christmas she told me.. "Before my mission so many people told me how hard this was going to be...but no one told me how much fun I would have. Missionary work is fun!" Thats my girl! I miss her so much! They are having great success in Salta!

Peek a boo!

The other day while I was feeding Gracie, she kept putting her head down on her arm... then lifting it up and giggling... Finally, I caught on... she was playing Peek a boo with me! So CUTE! I just love being a mom!

Visit with the Dowses!

Our friends Jacob and Sofia came to visit for the Holidays. It was so fun to see them! Gracie loved their daughter Annie... She couldnt keep her eyes off of her. James and Jacob went snowmobiling, while sofia and I talked and cooked... then talked some more! We miss you guys already!

Our little snow angel!

Christmas was so wonderful with Gracie this year.... not like she has any idea what was going on Christmas morning....but Mom and Dad had a blast! Gracie loved looking at the lights on the tree. She also loved the Christmas music blasting. Her favorite place to crawl is over to the stereo. The other day when I was playing Josh Groban, I saw her crawl to the stereo and rest her head on the speakers. She just layed there, for several minutes with her arms wrapped around the speaker! (I know, where was my camera!!) I think she likes the musical vibrations... it was so cute!
