Lisa's wedding
WOW! Where does the time go! Things have been so busy around here. Adjusting to two little ones has been adventurous! Carter is two months, and we are getting in our groove now, and its really alot of fun. Gracie is very good with Carter, besides the day she attempted to share her cracker with him by forcing it into his little mouth causing him to awake out of a deep slumber, but thats what big sisters are for right?
We have been in AZ the last week or so. My sister Lisa got married in the Mesa, AZ temple! It was a beautiful wedding. The reception was in my parents backyard, and it was so beautiful. They had tons of lights, and a huge white reception tent, a live piano player, and we served Gillato. I am so happy for her! We love Andy! He fits right in!
Here are a few picture with my camera, I will put the photographers pictures up soon

They are a beautiful couple! Addy ran up and gave them both a big hug, she turned to the crowd and started clapping her hands and said "yay" over and over! It was such a precious moment!
Our little family at the temple. Carter was in his carrier sleeping peacefully (yes!) and Gracie was running all over the place! It seems impossible to get a good family picture lately. Guess this will have to do!

Gracie at the hotel with Barney!
Gracie and Addy are two peas in a pod. It was so fun to see them play together. They were the ones who poured soap into my Dads water fountain... they dumped a half a bottle of Dawn in and thought it was the best thing...

Photo Shoot! -Carter 1 month
She did it again! Suzy is the best! Here are some pictures of Carter. It takes a whole lot of patients to take pictures of newborns! You would never know by looking at these pictures that Carter was Wailing the whole time!
I can never choose between color and black and white! I love them all... Thank you Suzy!

Happy Easter
I love Easter! I love it because its means SPRING is here, easter egg hunts, and Easter Candy is the best! We had fun with Gracie putting on an easter egg hunt and eating sweets! But as with other holidays, we always try to remember and celebrate the true meaning and significance which can be easily lost in this world.
As I have taken the time to ponder on the birth, life and death of the Savior. I am filled with gratitude for the Plan of Salvation and for all He has done to make it possible to return to our Heavenly Father. I remember during our trip to Isael my favorite place to see was the Garden Tomb. In the middle of this amazing garden full of vibrant colored flowers, plants, and trees, was the ancient tomb where he laid. It was so beautiful! There was a feeling that you could not deny. It was a feeling of triumph and a feeling of peace to know that because he was resurected, so shall we!
I really enjoyed this special Easter Message the First Presidency gave.
"At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).
Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in very deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ. Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend."

Big Sister
Right before I had Carter, everyone talked about how crazy it will be to see Gracie after the hospital because it will seem like she is so much older! I cant believe how true that is! She looks all grown up now. When I saw her the 2nd day at the hospital I couldn't believe it, I just kept staring at her thinking, "she looks huge!" It really hits me when I change her diapers compared to Carters... (ya, potty training is next on the list!) We also took Gracie to get her very first hair cut! It made her seem even older!
She is very cute with Carter. At first, is seemed she didn't really care to look at him or really get into the idea that he is here to stay! Now, all she wants to do is hold him, and help me change his diaper etc. Sometimes, she will sneak up stairs real fast and I will hear her voice talking to him over the intercom. I quickly panic and run upstairs because I know she's up there looking at him in the bassinet and who knows what else she's doing to him! Good thing he's a boy, I'm not as nervous when she tries to tickle him, or give him five, or when she trys to give him some of her drink by shoving her sippy cup in his mouth! Well, to say the least, its defiantly more busy and entertaining around here!
Giving Carter kisses
First Hair Cut!
Yeah, the curls are still here!
Hippo is still her favorite!
I LOVE sleeping babies!

Settling in
I dont know what I would have done without my mom, who came to help me for a week. It is an adjustment to have 2, but it is wonderful. Carter is a good baby, and Gracie is getting used to her "little baby." She loves to give him pokes and hugs and lots of kisses. The C-section went so much better than last time. I am sure its because it was planned and I got the right meds!

Carter's Here!
Carter James Lawyer is here! He weighed 8lbs 13ounces, and 19 inches long. (ya, think we made the right choice with the C, especially cause we were 10 days early)
He is such a precious little guy, and oh, so cudly! We are all doing well. Gracie is not quite sure this little one is here to stay... but she'll figure it out soon! Meanwhile, Carter is getting used to big sister poking him all the time, and she likes to give kisses too! There's nothing like the spirit of a new baby to bring joy and warmth to your heart... we love this little guy!!
Here are some pictures of his first few days.
