Trip to Israel
Wow! What an experience it was to visit the Holy Land. We had so much fun. It was so great to visit so many sites. The Sea of Galilee, Mount of Olives, Capernum, Mount of Beatitutes, Old Jerusalem, River Jordan, The garden Tomb, and The Garden of Gathsemene, just to name a few, were such amazing places to visit. We learned so much. Elder Hartman Rector Jr. and Dr. Kimber were on the trip with us, and we learned so much from them as they lectured at the sites.
When we werent touring, we were participating in the archological dig outside of Jerusalem. They have already found old cave writings, olive presses, ritual baths, and an old chapel/temple mosaic floor dating to 400 AD! It is amazing to be apart of such unique finds and work so close with the archeologists. James will be going every 6 months to dig since he is apart of the board. As for Gracie and I, we will keep our feel in US soil for a while.
Gracie did well considering the touring schedule. We are all finally getting adjusted after jet lag. I think my favorite parts were the Testimony Meeting on the boat ride through the sea of Galilee, and singing together at the Garden tomb. I know you dont have to go to Israel to get a testimony of the Savior, but it sure was an experience that brought me closer to His life and teachings. I will be forever grateful!
Here are some pictures of our trip!

Growing fast!
Today James yelled from the kitchen as he was feeding Gracie, "Oh, I found a tooth!" I went running in and there she was with food all over her face, grinning. Her little tooth was poking up. I think the reason we were both shocked is because she hasnt had any of the usual "signs" of teething. Seems like every day now she does something new. This is such a fun age, I love it!
